Creating graphs with ASCIIsvg is similar to using a
graphing calculator or computer algebra
system.
Click the "Insert Graph" button on the editor menu to insert a template (by default it plots a sine curve and a parametric semicircle). (x,y) From a calculus student project: "The Use of Parametric Curves in Typefaces" "Like most people, I always thought that calculus would not apply to my everyday life. Although I am not solving integrals, every time I use the computer to type a paper I am using an application of parametric equations. It is amazing to see the hundreds of typefaces that exist and know that in each one, each individual letter's characteristics are made according to specific parametric equations...."
At the end of the project is this diagram: (x,y) |
